Day 1: Dar es Salaam Selous Game Reserve.

 

Leaving Dar es Salaam early in the morning and arrive at Selous Game Reserve late afternoon; lunch is provided along the way since it takes about 5- 6 hrs to Selous. After unpacking proceeds with game drive along Rufiji River for few hours before sunset. Dinner and overnight at Selous Sunset Lodge OR Rufiji River Camp.

 

Day 2: Game Drive - Rufiji River Boat Safari

Game drive, lunch and then embark on a boat safari (3 hours) in the mighty Rufiji River, which brings you close to hippopotamus and crocodiles, bird watching on the riverbank. Dinner and overnight at Selous Sunset Lodge or Rufiji River Camp.

 

Day 3: Selous Game Reserve.

Foot-walking Safari to the Selous Game Reserve, starts early in the morning with the guidance of an armed ranger, takes 2 hours before you come back for breakfast and then drive to Morogoro for dinner and overnight at Oasis Lodge.

 

Day 4 Transfer to Mikumi

Transfer to Mikumi National Park for a full day safari, starting with sunrise game drive: Chamgore and Mkata Food Plain within Mikumi National Park; lunch at the lodge/camp. Proceeds with game drive till late sunset. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Camp.

 

Day 5: Udzungwa National Park

Breakfast and then transfer by car to the starting point; start hiking to the Sanje Water Falls (Options: swimming and exploring the forest around the camp for birding and searching for monkeys: other attractions: birds, primates, scenery of forest with varieties of vegetation type and butterflies. Dinner and overnight at Udzungwa Falls Lodge.

 

Day 6: Transfer to Ruaha National Park

Early morning breakfast and depart for Ruaha National Park. Then proceed to Ruaha National Park for game drive until sunset with en route lunch. Dinner and overnight at Sunset Mountain Lodge.

 

Day 7: Full day Game Viewing in Ruaha National Park

Full days of game safari in Ruaha National Park, starting in the morning with picnic lunch in the bush: the game viewing will concentrate along the Ruaha River Banks; and then proceed with sunset wilderness game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sunset Mountain Lodge.

 

Day 8: Ruaha National Park – Mikumi National Park

Early morning after breakfast drive to Mikumi National Park with en route lunch; game drive on arrival till the sunset. Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hills Safari Lodge.

 

Day 09: Full day in Mikumi, overnight at Mikumi Wildlife camp.

 

 

Day 10: Mikumi - Dar es Salaam

Breakfast and then game drive in Mikumi National Park till 11.00am, drive back to Dar es Salaam .Overnight at Hotel BB.
